The Architecture for Heritage course at YACademy equips students with tools and opportunities to succeed in the protection and restoration of heritage buildings, supported by several well-known architecture firms.

YACademy's Architecture for Heritage course collects the most relevant international experience in the field.

The course offers three scholarships with full coverage of the enrolment cost for the most deserving students. It is also possible to participate in the courses remotely.

With a frequency of three days per week for a duration of two months, Architecture for Heritage hosts several frontal teaching modules and numerous interventions by well-known professionals working at world-renowned companies, including Eduardo Souto De Moura, David Chipperfield Architects Milano, Aires Mateus & Associados, Barozzi Veiga, Herzog & de Meuron.

The course's workshop, tutored by Andreas Fries, a Senior Partner at Herzog & de Meuron and conducted in collaboration with Agenzia del Demanio, is aimed at the redevelopment of the Island of Poveglia, in Venice.

In addition, YACademy offers its students the opportunity to participate in the process of producing their own ideas, gaining practical experience on construction sites and authoring their own projects with the potential to be a platform for their professional careers. To conclude the course, each student will carry out a period of collaboration with one of YACademy's partner firms.

The collaboration will have a minimum duration of two months and guaranteed remuneration consistent with regulatory requirements.

Some of the professional players with expertise in relation to the course topic include McCullough Mulvin Architects, Federico Pompignoli, Amelia Tavella Architectes, Vector Architects and Zamboni Associati Architettura.
