YACademy's Architecture for Outer Space course collects the most relevant international experience in the field and prepares students with design knowledge to understand and enhance the memory of historical architectures.
The course offers three scholarships with full coverage of the enrollment cost for the most deserving students. It is also possible to participate in the courses remotely.
With a frequency of three days per week for a duration of two months, Architecture for Outer Space hosts several frontal teaching modules and numerous interventions by well-known professionals working at world-renowned companies, including Paolo Nespoli, Hugh Broughton, Melodie Yashar from ICON, Julian Ocampo Salazar from BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) and Xavier De Kestelier from Hassell.
The course's workshop will be carried out in collaboration with BIG Bjarke Ingels Group and the European Space Agency's Topical Team on Planetary Caves.
It will focus on the possibilities of developing analysis and research modules within lunar pits.
In addition, YACademy offers its students the opportunity to participate in the process of producing their own ideas.
Thus, the students will gain practical experience on construction sites and, above all, the authorship of projects built for excellent commissions, destined for a major media echo and capable of defining a turning point in their professional career.
To conclude the course, each student will carry out a period of collaboration with one of YACademy's partner firms.
Such collaboration will have a minimum duration of two months and guaranteed remuneration consistently with regulatory requirements.
