Royal College of Art (RCA) presents an intense, immersive architecture summer school offering a challenging and engaging mix of design studio experience, site visits and expert guest talks.
This short course is an ideal introduction to the studio teaching model at the RCA, aiming to push participants to expand their skills and support portfolio development, providing an informal platform for discussing art and architecture and their agency.
The 2025 summer school will be led by the architectural duo behind Lemonot – Sabrina Morreale and Lorenzo Perri – who are both tutors on the Architecture MA programme. The course will also be supported by RCA course tutors with a varied range of expertise.
Invited expert guests include Beth Hughes, head of programme at RCA Architecture MA; Eleonora Agostini, artist; Marko Milovanovic, founder of Mylomark and Free School Of; Michela Falcone, architect and educator; Gaia Crocella, senior design researcher, and more.
Taking place in-person at the RCA Kensington campus with site visits in London such as Niall Mclaughlin Architects.
Each year the course attracts a global mix of participants from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds. Focused around design interventions, crossing disciplinary boundaries, students work individually and in groups, fostering new encounters and collaboration.
