The programme focuses on adaptive reuse, sustainability and innovative spatial design. It draws on a long legacy of British design within the context and challenges of contemporary brand and luxury design, allowing students to investigate sensory design, well-being and advanced materiality.

Projects are executed in collaboration with established and emerging industry talent while supported by a strong in-house teaching team, as well as industry mentors and industry specialists covering wide subjects including lighting, design process and materiality.

Students are supported and encouraged to explore and test their designs using advanced technologies such AI, VR and AR to collaborate, cross-collaborate and present projects to panels and receive valued feedback. Alongside practical design skills, students delve into the history of design, current trends and contemporary design thinking.

Students have an option to spend a year in industry to gain important industry experience. The studies culminate in self-elected final projects where students manage research and design, prototype, test and evaluate, and create projects with depth and complexity.
