We believe in bringing out the best in our students. We'll teach you to become creative, perceptive and bold landscape architects improving our environment for future generations.
The Leeds course, with its origins in Leeds School of Art in 1966, strives to combine our strong creative roots with the environmental imperatives of our time.
We believe in giving our students the skills to create socially and environmentally responsive and beautiful places.
In first year, students learn drawing and analysis skills and begin their journey as spatial and environmental designers.
The second year consolidates this knowledge by teaching subjects such as planting, construction and landscape assessment.
The third year brings the learning together, combining the technical and the creative with research skills and live projects to develop a personal design philosophy ready to work in practice.
The opportunities for work in the profession have never been greater and we have excellent connections with landscape practices, leading to very high graduate employment rates.
In addition, our course is accredited by the Landscape Institute, assuring you that the course meets the required standards.
