The department provides professional skills that help young creatives understand communication problems through critical thinking and creative problem-solving.
The program is committed to addressing the role of design in a multicultural and multilingual contemporary Arabic context and provides a creative learning environment for this purpose.
Graphic designers work with multiple mediums, including print, web, interactive design, video and various forms of three-dimensional experiential design, to deliver precise and targeted communication.
Our graduates are skilled specialists in print, web and multimedia, and can apply strategic thinking skills to a number of professional careers where visual communication is required.
Our students have been hired by and or worked with local, regional and international organizations and companies such as Qatar Museums, Qatar Airways, Arab Engineering Bureau, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Al Jazeera and Al Jazeera Kids, Blueprint, Doha Film Institute, Film House, Katara Hospitality, Qatari Diar, ASHGHAL, Qatar Foundation, FROMM, Msheireb Properties, Doha Design District and HOK which is one of the largest architecture firms in the US.
