Certificate in Applied Color for Interiors at New York School of Interior Design

The Certificate in Applied Color for Interiors course at the New York School of Interior Design equips students with in-depth knowledge of colour schemes to create impactful interiors.

School: New York School of Interior Design (NYSID)
Course: Certificate in Applied Color for Interiors
Location: online
Course dates: 13 to 27 February 2024, once a week for three weeks from 4 to 7 pm ET via Zoom
Application deadline: 13 February 2024

The Certificate in Applied Color for Design course gives meaningful insight into how professional interior designers use color and underlying design principles to develop color schemes that make an impact.

The course combines three parts – The Art of Choosing Paint Color, Creating a Successful Color Scheme, and Transform an Existing Space with Color – to form a unified series of three online workshops.

Distilled from tried-and-true NYSID courses that have trained designers for decades, these courses build on what we already know, drawing out the innate sensitivity of the human eye and familiar vocabulary so students can understand more clearly how to utilize the ideas that make color such a powerful tool in interior design.

Because they cover different facets of the topic, the workshops can be taken alone or in combination.

Each workshop has been created to help both professionals and non-professionals work more effectively with color.

Registration for the three-series workshops is at a discounted rate and offers students a certificate from the New York School of Interior Design.

Applications to this course have now closed.
