The Contract Design for Public Interiors course at Università Iuav di Venezia in Venice, Italy, provides students with advanced conceptualisation and visualisation skills to create contemporary private, public and digital spaces.
Based in Venice, a city unique for its profound tradition of finest Italian craftsmanship, we offer a new interior design master programme, focused on strategies and planning of interior spaces such as hospitality, residential complexes, museums and healthcare.
The programme will challenge you to view design as a reflection of contemporary society constantly evolving towards a seamless integration of private, public and digital spaces, and to formulate your own critically independent response to conceptualising and making interiors.
You will create visions, develop them into customised products, spaces and services, gain skills to visualise ideas and direct their implementation. The integration of digital interactions to complete the physical reality are an essential part of the programme.
This course is conceived for students holding a bachelor degree in design and aims to train cross-disciplinary professionals able to coordinate the entire design process by relating user needs, space experience and project-management skills.
During the design workshops, you will have the opportunity to work closely with top tier brands while developing unique designs according to a shared brief. Later you will begin an internship within our partner companies, to experience the design cycle from within.
