The Design for Outdoor Living BA (Hons) degree offers students the ability to add a unique set of skills to their portfolio.

Awarded by De Montfort University, this course prepares students for a career in interior design, with a special emphasis on creating outside living spaces.

Covering the core modules of the Interior Design BA (Hons) degree, including research, contextualisation, space planning and lighting, you'll also study specialist modules, such as design technology, materials, plants and planting for outdoor living.

The modules end with a final outdoor living project to add to your professional portfolio.

The course is available as a Top Up Degree, suitable for those looking to convert an existing design degree, Higher National Diploma or international two-year degree.

With full access to our virtual learning studio, students also work with a personal tutor who specialises in design for outdoor living.

Portfolios are moderated and degrees awarded by De Montfort University.

Students can apply and start the degree at any time. The course is online, allowing students to fit in their studies around work and other commitments.
