Positioned at the intersection of several creative disciplines, the Monash Master of Design programme allows you to explore advanced principles in contemporary design to enhance your practice and be an innovative leader.
Through our project-based and studio-focused course, you'll be able to extend your learning within one of the following specialisation areas: interaction design, multimedia design and collaborative design.
Alternatively, you can choose the advanced studies in design specialisation, allowing you to construct an individual program of study from across all three areas.
Central to this course are four core design studios that will engage you with design systems, services, processes, environments and objects.
In addition, you'll undertake studies in design thinking and you'll build your capabilities in design research, management and entrepreneurship. In the final semester you'll pursue a major design project or participate in an industry-based project.
This program is ideal for people with an undergraduate degree in any discipline who are keen to enter the exciting field of professional design, or for design practitioners aiming to upgrade their expertise.
