The Master of Science in Architecture course places the building organism at the centre of the design experience.

The main educational objective of the two-year program is to prepare students to manage the entire process leading to the definition of quality architecture: from conceptualisation to construction and the interactions between the building and its contexts, with particular attention to the study of livability conditions, coherence between structural, typological, distributive and technological choices.

The entirety of the curriculum, which proposes a historical and critical approach to the tools of design disciplines and architectural language, aims to provide advanced professional knowledge, intended to govern all architectural choices and evaluate them in terms of technical and economic feasibility.

Study topics encompass the entire field of typological applications and prioritise the design of new constructions and the integration of contemporary architecture into existing urban fabrics.

The educational path of the department's master's degrees is structured into thematic semesters, characterized by highly interdisciplinary applied laboratories.

In particular, the architectural design course includes, in the first year, the organization of a workshop and a design experience on the theme of the building addressed in two connected laboratories distributed in the second and first semester of the second year, with a sequence of deepening ranging from preliminary to executive design.
