The deTour design festival hosts a physical exhibition alongside a series of online events around the theme Matter of Life.
It celebrates the works and ideas of international and local designers and creatives through a programme of public exhibitions, interactive installations, talks and workshops. The event is curated by Hong Kong-based Trilingua Design Studio.
The virtual festival can be accessed through the deTour website, where visitors can create their own animated avatar and virtually walk around and explore the exhibits. Participants are able to talk to other visitors through a chatbox.
deTour 2020 takes place online and at PMQ, 35 Aberdeen Street, Hong Kong from 27 November to 6 December 2020.
