For the first time, Milan design week's Isola Design District hosts its own festival, which features a series of online exhibitions, project presentations and live-streamed events, plus a real-world event in September.

The event, which runs over the course of six months, is dedicated to emerging international designers and independent design studios.

Isola Design Festival takes place virtually from 12 April and will culminate in a physical event taking place during Milan design week in September.
