The theme for this year's edition of the fair is "New World: New Era, Time to Reconnect". It aims to explore the future of the built environment and sustainability under three main topics: people, planet and performance.
MIPIM provides visitors with the opportunity to access and meet with leading professionals from residential, office, retail, healthcare, sport and industrial sectors, showcasing and exhibiting development projects, capital sources and business ideas.
The fair is divided into a series of pavilions representing different countries. Cities, companies and regions will all be gathered under these country-specific locations to showcase and share insights and investment opportunities.
There is a conference programme alongside the main fair which will explore the themes of People, Planet, and Performance.
Along with the trade show, MIPIM hosts a variety of special events:
Six finalists of MIPIM's Startup Competition, a worldwide initiative that aims to spotlight dynamic and promising startups, will be revealed.
A series of networking sessions are available for visitors, which aim to forge new connections and expand networks to discover and discuss market trends in healthcare, logistics and hospitality.
An awards ceremony for the MIPIM Awards also takes place. It celebrates built and unbuilt projects from around the world.
Masks and face coverings are mandatory for visitors and participants of the event for both indoor and outdoor spaces.
Touch-free hand sanitation stations will be located across the premises and in shared spaces including conference rooms and demonstration spaces.
Visitors are advised to print passes and day badges at home so that visitors can avoid frequent contact wherever possible.
Social distancing measures will be put in place and floor markings will guide visitors throughout the venue in a one-way system. Indoor spaces will be capped with maximum capacity limits.
