The design festival Venice Design Week returns to Italy in 2022 for its 13th edition.

This year's festival follows the theme of Origins, exploring creative journeys to sustainability and slow design.

The nine-day event has a programme of exhibitions, installations, talks, tours and an awards ceremony.

One of the design week's largest exhibitions is the VDW Light Selection 2022, a tour of lighting projects located across hotels and galleries in the city.
