Dezeen partners with hotel One Hundred Shoreditch to host the Designed in Hackney exhibition.

The exhibition, curated by Dezeen, showcases the work of five upcoming designers from the London borough of Hackney.

Each designer was nominated by established brands in Hackney, including Lee Broom, Pearson Lloyd, Camille Walala, Nelly Ben Hayoun and Roksanda Ilincic.

The nominated designers include artist and designer, Coco Lom; furniture and product designer, Amechi Mandi; ceramic designer, Bisila Noha; animator, Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley; and fashion designer, Marie Lueder.

In 2012, Dezeen launched the Designed in Hackney initiative to celebrate the diversity of creative talent in the borough ahead of the London Olympics.

Designed in Hackney takes place from 26 November to 4 December 2022 at One Hundred Shoreditch, 100 Shoreditch High Street, London E1 6JQ, UK.
