The International Union of Architects (UIA) hosts the 28th edition of the UIA World Congress of Architects in Copenhagen.

The event follows the theme Sustainable Futures – Leave No One Behind, and focuses on utilising architecture as a tool to meet the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The congress addresses topics such as reliance on resources, community-centred architecture and sustainability.

Copenhagen is also the UNESCO-UIA World Capital of Architecture for 2023 and is hosting the event as part of its title.

The event includes global keynote speakers from industry leaders in architecture, science, business and politics.
