The expo takes place from 13 April to 13 October 2025.
Programme
The showcase features 58 national pavilions, four domestic pavilions and the grand ring structure, designed by Sou Fujimoto Architects.
The grand ring is currently the largest wooden architectural structure, measuring 61,035.55 square metres.
Theme
The event aims to explore technology, sustainability and Japan's Society 5.0 initiative through the themes: Saving Lives, Empowering Lives, Connecting Lives.
