Leatherwork practice Bill Amberg Studio has collaborated with Kingston University's Product and Furniture Design MA course and The Leathersellers' Foundation to host an exhibition.

On display during London Design Festival 2025, the exhibition presents experimental leather projects and works-in-progress prototypes, exploring circular design and the ethics of materiality.

The exhibition follows the students' involvement in The Leathersellers’ Surplus Leather Project, using offcuts and surplus hides from landfill to create the pieces.

The showcase takes place at Bill Amberg's working studio, enabling visitors to see the designs surrounded by the tools used to create them.

Next Generation in Experimental Leather takes place from 13 to 19 September 2025 at Bill Amberg Studio, 14 Minerva Road, London NW10 6HJ, UK.
