Architecture and interior design studio AB Concept has collaborated with Hong Kong-based carpet manufacturer Tai Ping to create the Ami Collection, debuting at London Design Festival 2025.

Informed by comfort, memory and a connection with nature, the collection features six oval, round and rectangular rugs in an autumn-inspired colour palette: burnt orange, mustard yellow and sage green.

The hand-tufted rugs demonstrate a range of crafts, featuring hand embroidery, crochet, carving and shaping with cut-and-loop effects.

The varying pile heights add a sculptural style to the pieces, which reflect the home of Ed Ng and Terence Ngan, co-founders of AB Concept, in Itsu Sho Sha, located in the Karuizawa forest.

Tai Ping x AB Concept – Ami Collection takes place from 15 to 19 September 2025 at Tai Ping Carpets Showroom, 117-119 Fulham Road, London SW3 6RL, UK.
