Italian reconstituted wood brand Alpi presents The Lost Cloth Object at the Design Miami fair, an installation made in collaboration with industrial design studio Stephen Burks Man Made.

The installation is informed by textiles found in the Kuba Kingdom in the Democratic Republic of Congo and features a stool, ottoman and curved partition.

The furniture collection was developed in a workshop in Kinshasa, the Democratic Republic of Congo, with contemporary Kuba artisans using Alpi reconstituted woods.

The fair takes place during the 2025 edition of Miami art week.

The Lost Cloth Object by Stephen Burks Man Made for Alpi takes place from 2 to 7 December 2025 at Design Miami, Miami Beach Convention Center, 1901 Convention Center Drive, Miami, Florida 33139, USA.
