The School of Architecture, Art and Design (EAAD) at Tecnológico de Monterrey presents Sintropía: Life and Artifice in Balance, an exhibition at design fair Zsonamaco.

The exhibition features two student projects, Celulosa Doméstica and Lux Futura, that explore the dynamics between natural and artificial materials.

Celulosa Doméstica addresses the application of the bacterial cellulose material in households, while Lux Futura showcases artificial intelligence (AI)-generated lighting.

Sintropía outlines the roles of organic and algorithm-based design, and how both biology and technology can influence the industry.

Sintropía: Life and Artifice in Balance takes place from 4 to 8 February 2026 at Zsonamaco, Centro Banamex, Avenue del Conscripto 311, Lomas de Sotelo, Miguel Hidalgo, 11610 Mexico City, Mexico.
