During Milan design week 2026, multidisciplinary Chinese artist Ai Weiwei presents an immersive installation using gold-stitched silk lampas fabric.

The project is a collaboration between the artist and the host of the installation, Venetian textile house Rubelli, exploring the Chinese significance of silk together with the Venetian weaving tradition.
