Bathroom brand VitrA has collaborated with architecture studio Snøhetta to create an installation during Milan design week 2026, celebrating ceramics.

Titled Ceramics Forged in Light, the showcase explores the art of ceramics as a primal craft, having been formed from clay for centuries, as well as modern techniques that enable former objects to be recycled.

The brands claim the exhibition "traces a quiet arc from earth to rebirth", spotlighting basins, vessels and surfaces stylised as ancient bathhouses.

Ceramics Forged in Light by VitrA x Snøhetta takes place from 20 to 30 April 2026 at Università degli Studi di Milano, Via Festa del Perdono 7, 20122 Milan, Italy.
