Paris-based artist and designer Laurie Demir, also known professionally as Lorig, presents an exhibition during Milan design week 2026, featuring Flow, a lighting design made from Lorig's original material Kami-Kami.
Kami-Kami is the artist's multiple award-winning invention made from human or animal keratin fibres, with uses ranging from interior architecture to design and visual art.
Flow explores the material's application to conduct light innovatively, and was a winner of the materials category at the Isola Design Awards.
Kami-Kami Lighting by Lorig takes place from 20 to 26 April 2026 at Copernico Isola for S32, Via Filippo Sassetti 32, 20124 Milan, Italy.
