The inaugural edition of Montréal Design Week takes place in 2026, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the city's UNESCO City of Design status.
Around 60 venues are participating in the festival, hosting exhibitions, installations, talks, tours and open studios.
Programme highlights include the Index-Design trade show, located at Grand Quay, and a one-day conference at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts featuring a talk by designer and the festival's guest of honour, Bethan Laura Wood.
The event is organised by Index-Design and presented by Tafisa Canada.
