Milan-based designer Niccolò Spirito and design studio Bracciodiferro host an exhibition during the city's design week, presenting a project dedicated to the late architect and furniture designer Luigi Caccia Dominioni.

The new lighting piece, titled Sassona, is a sculptural reinterpretation of the Sasso lamp, created by the late designer for a monastery in 1948.

While the original lamp conforms to the Milanese post-war style, designed prioritising functionality and simplicity, the new iteration incorporates a larger scale and a mix of pastel and bright colours.

Sassona by Niccolò Spirito x Bracciodiferro Milano takes place from 20 to 26 April 2026 at Piazzale Bacone 12, 20129 Milan, Italy.
