Design store Assembly Line has collaborated with Brooklyn-based designer Christopher Merchant and lighting studio Kawabi to create the Amica lighting collection.

The collection of sconces, pendents, table and floor lamps is presented through an installation during NYCxDesign 2026 and combines Merchant's hand-crafted ceramic bases with Kawabi's shades made out of Japanese kozo paper.

The name is derived from the word 'amicable' as a reflection of the spirit of artistic kinship from which the project was created.

The exhibition is by appointment only.
