Cooee 1c lamp by Neoz

Lighting brand Neoz packs big impact into a compact form with this portable table lamp, made to stand sculpturally on dining tables.

The Cooee 1c is a slim, battery-powered lamp with a spun metal body and domed reflector that directs light straight down, creating a neat pool of light on the table below.

The narrow beam of light casts almost no reflection onto nearby glass, making the lamp particularly effective for settings next to windows or mirrors, while the fine 0.6-millimetre spun metal body over a polycarbonate core makes it light and practical.

Interior design studio GA used the Cooee 1c lamp in its schemes for the Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur venues Merdeka Grill and Cacao Mixology & Chocolate and said it helped to enhance the warm, human-scaled atmosphere without disrupting spatial composition. 

“The NEOZ Cooee Cordless lamp range was an important operational and aesthetic choice,” said GA director Corinna Galdies.

“With such a prominent glass façade, the quality of light changes significantly throughout the day and evening, so having flexible lighting allows the team to adapt the atmosphere easily.”

The Cooee 1c lamp is available in a choice of five metallic finishes. Designed in-house by Neoz founder Peter Ellis and Tammy Chiew, it has an IP64 water resistance rating and three-level dimming.
