  • Dezeen Music Project: Route by Fine Cut Bodies and Fink

Hungarian DJ and producer Fine Cut Bodies has given us all a late Christmas present by making this little-known collaboration with Brighton-based musician Fink available for free download. Route is a mellow trip-hop track which, although composed over eight years ago, still sounds fresh in 2013.

Download it here while you can.

You can listen to other tracks by Fine Cut Bodies that we've featured on Dezeen Music Project here.

  • Dezeen Music Project: Amendment XVIII by Fine Cut Bodies

Budapest producer and DJ Fine Cut Bodies has to be one of the most wonderfully eclectic artists we've featured on Dezeen Music Project. He's certainly not afraid of combining musical elements from whatever mix of genres takes his fancy. Amendment XVIII is a bass-heavy electronica track with the unmistakeable swing rhythm of jazz music. It shouldn't work, but somehow it does.

Check out the other Fine Cut Bodies tracks we've featured on Dezeen Music Project here.

  • Dezeen Music Project: Tubular Bells (remix) by Fine Cut Bodies

Budapest DJ Fine Cut Bodies has remixed the first part of the classic Mike Oldfield album Tubular Bells. The track is a competition entry for an Indaba Music remix contest to commemorate the release of the original record, and you can listen to the other remixes the track is up against here.

Make sure you also check out the excellent Fine Cut Bodies remix of Fever Ray track Keep the Streets Empty for Me that we featured on Dezeen Music Project back in June.

  • Dezeen Music Project: Keep the Streets Empty for Me (remix) by Fine Cut Bodies

We've got a cracker of a track for you to start the week on Dezeen Music Project, with this glitchy downtempo remix of Keep the Streets Empty for Me by Fever Ray (aka Karin Dreijer Andersson, one half of Swedish dance duo The Knife).

The remix was sent to us by Budapest DJ/producer Fine Cut Bodies, who has managed to keep the eerie ambience of the original track despite working a big, bassy and very squelchy beat in to the mix. He has also very kindly made the track available for free download, so get it here if you like what you hear.

You can listen to the original Fever Ray track here too.
