Dezeen promotion: design company Luminaire is exhibiting a range of furniture by mid-century Danish modernist designer Poul Kjærholm in Miami on 8 October.

The exhibition of Poul Kjærholm's chair and table designs, currently produced by Danish brand Fritz Hansen, has been curated to span his thirty-year career.

PK22 lounge chair, 1956

Kjærholm lectured at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in the 1960s and was awarded the Danish ID Prize for product design in 1967.

Pieces on display will include the iconic PK22 Lounge Chair and lesser-known items like the PK54 Table and PK9 Chair.

The exhibition will be open to visitors from 6-8pm on Tuesday 8 October at the Luminaire Lab, located at 3901 NE 2nd Avenue, Miami, Florida.
