Dezeen promotion: architects and interior designers from all around the world are invited to submit entries to this year's A' Interior Design Award.

The A' Interior Design Award forms part of the A' Design Award and Competition – a contest that celebrates the world's best examples of design, in a wide range of fields.

The winners are selected by a jury of industry professionals, in recognition of designs that push the boundaries and aim to make the world a better place.

Last year's winners of the interior design prize included a pop-up Nike gym in Shanghai, a light-filled residence in Hong Kong and a vibrant locker room in Madrid.

Other recognised projects ranged from a revamped 16th century villa in Italy, to a contemporary exhibition centre in Shenzhen and an events space in Taiwan filled with gridded shelves.

The contest is open to designers from all around the globe, for any project completed in the past 10 years. Applicants have until 28 February 2018 to get their entries in.

Prizes are available in other categories, including architecture, industrial design, product design, graphic design, fashion, communication design and service design. Again, all applications need to be received by the end of February.

The results are expected to be announced on 15 April 2018, as part of the World Design Days 2018 event.

Winners will receive an A' Design Award trophy, a yearbook and an invitation for two people to attend the gala ceremony.
