In the talk, Paris-based designer Matali Crasset discussed her design practice, previous projects and her theory of "pragmatic design".
Crasset has previously designed a lamp based on traditional railway lighting for IKEA and a range of claw shaped rings for Parisian jewellers Le Buisson.
Dezeen broadcasted a number of talks 6 February, including a lecture by Rossana Hu and Lyndon Neri of Neri & Hu about the disappearing village culture in China.
