Watch Matti Klenell's lecture from Stockholm Furniture and Light Fair 2019

Swedish designer Matti Klenell discussed the design of the new public spaces at Stockholm's Nationalmuseum during his lecture at the Stockholm Furniture and Light Fair 2019.

Matti Klenell was one of five Swedish designers assigned to furnish three new interior spaces at Stockholm's Nationalmuseum following the institution's five-year restoration, which was completed in November last year.

The museum commissioned Klenell to work with local manufacturers to furnish the spaces, as part of an initiative to promote Nordic design.

In the lecture, Klenell discusses the process around the interior design of the spaces as well as a collection of objects he created for the project with Gabriella Gustafson and Mattias Ståhlbom from TAF Studio, Carina Seth Andersson and Stina Löfgren.
