Moving Walls' latest office table doubles up as a wall-hung whiteboard
Swiss company Moving Walls has extended its range of activity-based office furniture with a table that can also be used as a presentation panel for the wall.
The Moving Table is an additional element to the company's on-demand, multifunctional office system, which also includes a moveable magnetic wall, a stool made from recyclable Formfleece and a mobile acoustic panel.
Moving Walls hopes that its designs can offer a more flexible alternative to ordinary working spaces, in turn increasing productivity and sparking creative discussions by encouraging people to come together in a comfortable environment.
"The new table offers a profound answer to the question of future working methods and the establishment of a corporate culture of innovation," said the company.
Mounted on two solid wood three-legged trestles, the lightweight tabletop can be written on like a whiteboard to double up as a large-scale presentation panel for the wall.
Each of Moving Walls' office tools have been designed to compliment and match one another. Used on their own or as a combination, people can select different items in the collection to suit their own diverse working requirements.
In this modular manner, the tabletop of the Moving Table can be leant against the company's Moving Wall or hung from its wall-mounted Moving Rail system.
In addition to aiding different work processes, the table and its accompanying office tools are designed for easy assembly, and can be packed away without the need for any tools, allowing users to enable a more efficient use of space.
While the mobile, flexible system is designed to be used in offices, it can also be used in educational settings such as schools.
The table was presented at the Bisley offices during this year's Clerkenwell Design Week, which took place from 21 to 23 May across London.
Elsewhere in the city for the design week, the Bouroullec brothers showcased a modular seating-system suited for both the workplace and the home, which can be customised to include either a metal cage, wooden panels or soundproof upholstery.
The Grid seating system is just one of five products included in Dezeen's roundup of design highlights from Clerkenwell Design Week, which also includes a height-adjustable stool and a bench designed by Foster + Partners.
