Dezeen Showroom: the QuickStand Eco by Humanscale is an adjustable computer stand that allows users to quickly move between sitting and standing positions while working at a desk.
The sit-to-stand product is designed by Humanscale to create "active workstations" in offices that encourage movement, boost productivity and reduce the negative effects of sedentary behaviour.
It functions using a hidden counterbalance and a self-locking mechanism that allows users to instantly move from a sitting to a standing position as desired. This negates the need for fiddly adjustment knobs or levers.
QuickStand Eco is also portable and has a compact footprint that ensures it can be moved and used throughout an office. It is available in black or white and made in either a laptop, single or dual monitor configuration.
