The piece was developed as a direct response to the coronavirus pandemic, which has resulted in unprecedented numbers of people working from home without a satisfactory or ergonomic workspace.
"Whilst we expect ergonomics to be considered in the workplace, our home workspaces are often poorly designed and not always well thought out," explained Benchmark.
"This year we have all experienced a change to the way we are living and working. As a result, there is an increasing focus on our wellbeing and how we best use our spaces," the brand continued.
"We are realising the importance of good posture and encouraging movement in our working day. Using a height-adjustable desk to alternate between sitting and standing has been proven to bring numerous health and productivity benefits."
Noa is made almost entirely from natural materials, with a solid European oak frame that is available in either a natural or a dark grey finish.
Its compact design allows it to fits into a range of spaces – including small city flats and commercial spaces in need of adaptable furniture.
The worktop measures 120 by 66 centimetres and sits on an inset base to accommodate a nested chair. A vertical, white stand conceals the electrics and any power cables, which are connected to a console hidden on the underside of the tabletop.
