Andreu World, Tiptoe and Axor showcase products on Dezeen Showroom

A fully recyclable lounge chair, water-saving bathroom products and tabletops made from discarded yoghurt pots are the latest products featured on Dezeen Showroom this week.

Furniture, including chairs and tables, finishes and bathroom products have been added to Dezeen Showroom, which is an affordable space for brands to launch products and showcase their designers and projects.

Nuez Lounge BIO by Patricia Urquiola for Andreu World

Nuez Lounge is a lounge chair made from a recyclable, biodegradable and compostable thermopolymer by Spanish architect and designer Patricia Urquiola for Andreu World.

The material, which is generated by living organisms, is used to form the enveloping shell of the chair, while the fabric used is both recyclable and made from recycled materials such as plastic bottles and packaging.

Liz armchair by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba for Expormim

Liz is an armchair that was designed to resemble an archetypical indoor chair but made for the outdoors by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba for Spanish brand Expormim.

Each chair is composed of an aluminium frame that has been upholstered in technical fabrics by Sunbrella or Batyline, which have been selected for their durability in various weather conditions. This allows them to stay outdoors all year round.

Lapala chair by Lievore Altherr Molina for Expormim

The Lapala chair was created by design studio Lievore Altherr Molina for Expormim from materials that were chosen for their ability to withstand the elements.

The frame of the chair is made from stainless steel, while its seat and backrest are constructed from nautical polyester rope that has been handwoven into a tight plait by expert craftspeople in the Spanish town of Moixent.

Ribs outdoor bench by Stefan Lie for DesignByThem

Ribs is a skeletal bench, originally created by Australian designer Stefan Lie in 1998, which Sydney studio DesignByThem has released in an outdoor version.

The bench features a flexible spine that allows it to be configured into different positions. The seat is rendered in powder-coated aluminium, making it light and easily moveable, and available in an array of finishes including bone white, light grey or navy.

Plaff-on! outdoor wall light by Joan Gaspar for Marset

Plaff-on! is a minimal outdoor light available as either a wall light or bollard, created by industrial designer Joan Gaspar for Spanish brand Marset.

The light, which has an aluminium body and a blown-glass diffuser, features a perpendicular mount that allows the light to project directly downwards.

New Modern table system by Tiptoe

New Modern is a modular table system by French furniture brand Tiptoe that allows users to pair different worktops with trestle-style legs.

The steel legs are connected by two stainless steel support bars, while the tabletops can be screwed in from below. The tabletops are available in either FSC-certified pinewood or in a terrazzo-like recycled plastic sourced from hundreds of discarded yoghurt pots.

Altaj swing door by SBGA Blengini Ghirardelli for Lualdi

The Altaj swing door was designed to stand out, with its gridded three-dimensional profile. The door was created by Italian brand Lualdi in collaboration with design studio SBGA Blengini Ghirardelli.

The door, which is characterised by its distinctive relief pattern, is set into a thin, lightweight aluminium frame and comes in various finishes including wood, leather and marble.

Epix workplace furniture by Form Us With Love for Keilhauer

Epix is a family of workplace furniture including chairs, tables and storage created by Swedish studio Form Us With Love for Canadian office furniture manufacturer Keilhauer.

The chairs are composed of an aluminium frame with a seat shell made from either pure polypropylene plastic or pure PET felt, which enables them to be fully recycled. The tables, which are available in either wood veneer or laminate, can be used alone or pushed together for group work. The shelving comes in seven sizes and includes optional panels for privacy.

Paonazzo Biondo surfacing by Porcelanosa

Paonazzo Biondo is a decorative marble-effect finish intended for use as wall coverings and flooring by Spanish brand Porcelanosa.

The finish, which features delicate veining of gold, caramel, sage and deep merlot red on an ivory backdrop, can also be used on countertops, tables and furniture.

Plint is a sculptural accent light designed as an alternative to conventional spotlights by architect Massimo Colagrande for Italian design company Nemo Lighting.

The light is mobile and flexible in that it can illuminate items from different angles with the adjustable spotlight, negating the need for installation or ceiling tracks.

Axor Citterio is a collection of over 70 faucets designed for washbasins, bathtubs and showers by Italian designer Antonio Citterio for German brand Axor.

The range is distinguished by its distinctive flat surface and is available in classic chrome, matt black or a warm, brushed gold finish.

Axor One is a range of technology-driven bathroom faucets characterised by their slim silhouettes and curved spouts, created by design studio Barber Osgerby for Axor.

The collection of over 31 products, which comprises wall-mounted taps, floor-standing faucets for bathtubs and large shower heads, features a thermostatic module that allows users to control the temperature and save water.

Axor Universal Circular Accessories by Barber Osgerby for Axor

Also designed by Barber Osgerby for Axor is the Axor Universal Circular Accessories range of bathroom accessories, which includes wall and shaving mirrors, soap dispensers, towel hooks and rails, shelving, rubbish bins and toilet roll holders.

The collection, which has been designed to match bathrooms of various styles, is available in a chrome or matte black finish, with other colour finishes being available on request.
