Dezeen Showroom: Lammhults is presenting its classic X75-2 chair, which has been in production since mid-century Swedish design duo Lindau & Lindekrantz created it for the brand in 1972.

The X75-2 chair is characterised by its steel tube frame as well as a canvas back and seat.

Like much of the original X75 collection, which also included a table and three other seating designs, the chair can be folded and easily stored away.

The chair is designed to be placed in office or home environments

"X75-2 has been in production since the start and rapidly became a favourite among media and press as a director's chair," said Lammhults.

"In recent years, we have seen an increased interest in X75-2 mainly from younger architects."

The chair can be placed in either an office or a home environment. It is designed to be easily taken apart so its canvas can be replaced or its frame recycled.

"X75-2 is a Lammhults classic, exemplifying the playful and innovative style for which the company is renowned," said the brand.
