Dezeen Showroom: presented at Maison&Objet, Swedish design studio Form Us With Love has created the Atal Chair for Alki Furniture from a solid wood shell combined with metal tubing.

The Atal Chair is one of a selection of products available through French furniture and design fair Maison & Objet.

The range includes a straight, high stool, an armchair, a simple chair and a comfy lounge chair, all made from a single wooden shell that has been tilted differently to create each design.

The shell is made from oak veneer, which has been combined with oblong metal tubing to create a design that is both hardwearing and elegant.

The Atal Chairs are stackable, making them suitable for offices and public environments.

The chairs can come in an upholstered version with fabrics by Kvadrat or Gabriel, as well as in leather or eco leather.

The chairs are also available in six different wood stains and five different colours for the metal frames.
