Dezeen Showroom: Axor has updated its Citterio collection of bathroom taps by Italian architect and designer Antonio Citterio, adding a new lever handle option.

The Citterio collection is distinguished by its flat, bevelled surfaces that reflect the light and create a look that Axor describes as "understated yet unmistakably luxurious".

The collection is also notable for its wide range of products, including faucets in pin, cross handle and lever styles, which are intended to meet any personal preference.

Axor has now added a second lever handle to the collection, which it says is more precise, intuitive and easy to use.

The Citterio collection is available in classic chrome and a range of special Axor FinishPlus finishes, including polished black chrome and brushed gold optic.

As an additional option, the new lever handle is available with a 3D surface pattern that is said to enhance its sense of luxuriousness.
