Dezeen Agenda newsletter features the "world's first zero-emission superyacht"
The latest edition of our weekly Dezeen Agenda newsletter features the Domus trimaran, which was designed to be "the first truly zero-emission yacht over 750 gross tonnage". Subscribe to Dezeen Agenda now!
Devised by yacht design studios Van Geest Design and Rob Doyle Design, the Domus superyacht would be powered by a combination of hydrogen fuel cells, hydro generation and solar energy.
According to its designers, the vessel would be fully silent when at anchor, with no generator noise or exhaust fumes.
Other stories in this week's newsletter include new visuals of Frank Gehry's tallest-ever residential skyscrapers, a roundup of twenty significant buildings opened by Queen Elizabeth II during her 70-year reign and a report on how global cities are becoming cycle-friendly following a "seismic shift" during the pandemic.
