Floral Botanica kitchen by L'ottocento with a dark wooden island

Floral Botanica kitchen system by L'Ottocento

Dezeen Showroom: Italian brand L'Ottocento has released the Floral Botanica kitchen system, contrasting delicately decorated kitchen fronts with surfaces finished in dark wood and marble.

Created in collaboration with design consultancy makethatstudio, the Floral Botanica system features lacquered wooden doors adorned with intricate hand-carved borders.

These are offset against the brand's Archetipo kitchen island in dark oak wood and brown marble. The same material palette features inside the kitchen's storage compartments, which are configurable with pocket or pull-out doors.

Matching wall panels allow the Floral Botanica system to be extended into the living and dining room for visual continuity, with inserts finished in shantung silk by textile brand Dedar distinguishing the dining area.

In the living room, there is the option to use a mix of open and closed compartments as well as integrated doorways.

L'Ottocento says that Floral Botanica can be configured to suit any space and need, providing an "elegant but functional" kitchen solution.
