Sustonable surfaces by Sustonable
Dezeen Showroom: material brand Sustonable has created a range of 100 per cent recyclable surface materials that can be used for a range of uses.
Sustonable surfaces come in a wide range of colours and patterns, which aim to mimic traditional stone finishes, including veined marble and terrazzo.
Sustonable materials are made from natural stone combined with recycled, post-consumer PET plastic.
According to the brand, the material's stain and heat resistance makes it suitable for use on kitchen worktops, vanity tops, wall panels and furniture.
The finishes are manufactured into thin, lightweight sheets that minimises on-site installation time.
Surfaces are easy to maintain and clean, making them an appropriate choice for use in projects across the residential, commercial, retail and hospitality sectors.
"The more people can have access to sustainable products, the healthier our planet will be. Sustainable products cannot be a luxury; otherwise, we will be far from saving the planet," said Sustonable.
