Dezeen Showroom: outdoor furniture brand Neighbor has created a collection of solid teak seats named Bluff Lounge that are topped with large cushions upholstered in weather-resistant fabric.

The outdoor seating has subtly curved, tapered legs fixed to a low and sturdy solid teak base frame, which is topped with plush back cushions, side cushions and throw pillows that invite users to relax.

The Bluff Lounge collection has a modular design that allows the seating to be customised and added upon to suit the users' needs.

Materials used across the collection were selected for their outdoor durability. Cushions feature quick-dry foam padding, the covers can be removed and washed, and marine-grade stainless steel hardware means it is corrosion resistant.

"The Bluff Collection was designed to over-index on comfort for resort-like lounging," said Neighbor.

"It's deeper, lower, and more plush than the average outdoor collection with a hidden, cushion-wrapped structural frame and a throw pillow included for every seat."

"It's our first collection to include a chaise option and can be configured into a daybed for the ultimate lounge experience, thanks to its modularity," the brand continued.
