Shaker kitchen by Reform

Danish brand Reform has created a kitchen scheme informed by the Shakers – an 18th century movement prioritising pared-back interior furnishings.

Reform's Shaker kitchen is characterised by its utilitarian composition that references the results of traditional craft techniques.

The kitchen was recently featured on Dezeen Showroom alongside a modular office zoning system and a chair informed by tree branches.

Workplace furniture brand Mute has released a modular office zoning system that comes in 100 architect-designed formats for users to select from.

OmniRoom comes in several functions, including breakout spaces, conferences rooms, work stations and lounge areas – all made from 100 per cent fully recyclable aluminium.

Edaha chair by GamFratesi for Koyori

Design studio GamFratesi has created a chair for Japanese brand Koyori that takes cues from the shapes of tree branches.

The Edaha chair comes in either oak or walnut and can be upholstered in a range of fabrics upon request.

Saline rugs by Made Studio for Gan

Made Studio created a series of rugs for Spanish brand Gan made from 100 per cent recycled PET fibres that are spun and dyed before being hand-woven by artisans in India.

Saline rugs come in four colourways – black, white, terracotta or green – and a choice of three size formats. They are inherently weather resistant as a result of their materiality so are suitable for use outside.

BetteSuno washbasins by Barber Osgerby for Bette

German bathroom brand Bette collaborated with design studio Barber Osgerby to create a washbasin with a tapered conical bowl.

BetteSuno washbasins have a cylindrical exterior with a tapered interior and are currently available in glossy and matt white finishes.

Bee chair by Vicent Berbegal for Actiu

Spanish furniture brand Actiu has created a polypropylene and fibreglass chair that has a distinctly curvilinear silhouette.

Up to five Bee chairs can be stacked together for storage purposes and they can be used both indoors and outdoors.

BetteSuno bath by Barber Osgerby for Bette

British studio Barber Osgerby designed a bath tub for bathroom brand Bette that is intended to stand freely as a focal point in bathrooms.

BetteSuno baths have a lip around the rim that can be used to support the arms or head, and as a mini shelf for toiletries. It is made from glazed titanium steel and comes in a clean white colour.

Arqus desk by Orlandini Design for Narbutas

Italian studio Orlandini Design created a desk for workplace furniture brand Narbutas that aims to mark a departure from conventional heavy office desks.

Arqus has expressively splayed metal legs that encourage a sense of lightness and are made from veneer-covered chipboard. An L-shaped version is also available.

Shapeshifter rug by Michael Rowan and Azmas Rugs

Indian rug brand Azmas Rugs worked with computer scientist Michael Rowan to create a rug that features a gradually morphing series of tiles.

Part of art of Azmas Rugs' Evolving Patterns collection, Shapeshifter rugs are hand woven by artisans in Rajasthan, India, from cotton as standard however they can also be made from bamboo silk, a cotton-bamboo mix, silk or recycled PET.

Brera seating system by Jean-Marie Massaud for Poliform

Italian brand Poliform collaborated with designer Jean-Marie Massaud on a system of modular seating that is designed to act as a grounding focal point in large lounge areas.

The Brera seating system has plump cushions that can be upholstered in fabric or leather, as well as slimline bases and integrated tables that are tightly clad in leather, which instils a sense of luxury.
