Vitrified Composite boards by Ryno

Ryno presents composite decking that "actually looks like wood"

Promotion: decking and paving company Ryno has released its Vitrified Composite decking boards, which come in a range of wood finishes that are designed to provide an authentic hardwood look and feel.

The Vitrified Composite boards are the latest addition to Ryno's high-performing decking solutions and are designed to be a non-combustible, low-maintenance alternative to traditional wooden decking.

During the board's development, Ryno aimed to create a product for architects and designers that "actually looks like wood".

Made from a combination of clays and feldspar, the boards are available in five finishes that replicate the appearance of real wood – Brazilian Walnut, African Greywood, White Poplar, Sunbleached Oak and Himalayan Birch.

"Boasting a sensationally realistic wood-effect finish, it provides architects, designers and specifiers with outstanding performance while replicating a classic timber aesthetic, indistinguishable from its natural counterpart," explained the brand.

The range of finishes was designed to allow architects and designers to create "timeless" balconies, terraces and outdoor areas that complement any exterior scheme.

The product is designed to outperform traditional decking material as the Vitrified Composite boards are non-porous, guaranteed frost-resistant and Class A1 fire-rated.

According to Ryno, each board has been certified as 'low slip risk' due to its slip-resistant properties. Vitrified Composite is also CE marked signifying its compliance with European health, safety and environmental protection standards.
