Five Star Hotel by Abdulrahman Salman
"The design concept centres on the integration of indoor and outdoor spaces through a stepped terrace strategy inspired by the natural contours of the landscape.
"Careful consideration is given to solar orientation to minimise direct sunlight exposure, while prevailing wind directions are leveraged to enhance natural cooling and thermal comfort.
"In addition, the incorporation of mashrabiya elements reflects important cultural and social values in architecture, extending beyond aesthetic expression.
"By reinterpreting this traditional feature through contemporary design approaches, the project establishes a meaningful connection to heritage, community and identity.
"This balance between tradition and innovation enriches the spatial experience and fosters a strong sense of belonging and interconnectedness within the built environment."

Smart Research Indoor Farming by Asma Abdullah Hussain Alhermoodi
"Agriculture is the starting point of living it is a hope of life from seed. From the beginning of the union in the UAE, Sheikh Zayed brought the idea that only palms can grow in such severe climate conditions.
"He did it, which made agriculture essential for the nation today. The building aims to revolutionise local agriculture.
"Through smart technologies and sustainable design, the centre aims to enhance food security in the UAE, it could be a starting point for innovation in agriculture.
"The smart indoor framing will accommodate different technologies of farming and plant engineering.
"It will be a place for hosting experts and engineers from around the world to be a place to discuss and explore the future of agriculture in labs with different research centres.
"Also, it has educational workshops and exhibitions to connect the people to the agriculture field and a market that will serve fresh local production."
