HIMACS Terrazzo is now available in five new colourways
Dezeen Showroom: HIMACS has added five colourways to its terrazzo-inspired collection, which have received a prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2026 in the product category.
The HIMACS Terrazzo collection reimagines a timeless material technique through rich textures, a carefully balanced colour palette and distinctive, mineral-inspired patterns.
The five additional HIMACS Terrazzo colours include Terrazzo Ulivo, Terrazzo Nuvola, Terrazzo Sorrento, Terrazzo Marsala and Terrazzo Selva.

The latest colours have been recognised with the award, which celebrates the contemporary reinterpretation of traditional aesthetics, combining expressive design with responsible material innovation.
The hues incorporate SCS-certified pre-consumer recycled content, demonstrating how the demands of modern design can successfully coexist with enhanced sustainability in a high-performance solid surface.
The result is a versatile surface solution suited to hospitality, retail, workplace and residential environments. It also boasts the same aesthetics, durability and ease-of-maintenance that terrazzo is famous for.

"The integration of production offcuts, recovered and reintroduced into new formulations during the fabrication process, supports a more circular approach to manufacturing," said Martin Saxby, director of HIMACS UK.
"Among the awarded colours, Terrazzo Selva stands out with 25 per cent recycled content, one of the highest levels currently available within our extensive portfolio," Saxby added.
"Safety is a further consideration when specifying materials, and HIMACS is entirely free of silica, nanoparticles, formaldehyde and VOCs," he continued.
