Dezeen Showroom: surfaces brand VitrA Tiles has developed V-Flex, a method of installation that aims to meet evolving architectural expectations by being simple and adhesive-free.
The company's V-Flex system provides a quick and simple installation option for projects that seek efficiency, the flexibility to make changes over time, or the ability to preserve the existing floor beneath.
The system uses Välinge’s Ceraloc locking technology, with tongue-and-groove edges that allow tiles to slot into place, enabling precise alignment and even grout lines with reduced drying time.
In addition, the installation method provides good acoustic performance.
VitrA Tiles recommends this method for use when installing tiles in interiors spanning retail spaces, showrooms, offices, hotels, education facilities and commercial spaces.
